Hi,

A bird has asked if i can look at her bike tomorrow and try to get it started. I confess i'm not a regular mechanic, but thanks to you guys i think i've gained just enough knowledge to get by so far. She has a Ludix ped and i have no experience of peds. She says the problem is that it stalled at a set of lights and wouldn't start again. She has taken it to a garage and they fitted a new spark plug and told her they can't find the problem, basically taking her for a ride by the sound of it. How hard can it be to get a ped going again?

Please help.

I didn't find the right solution from the Internet.

Hi Clint,

you can start with cleaning the carburetor and the air filter.
How to clean 50cc scooter carburetor? Check out this video on youtube: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xniQEwMZbTI
The 50cc carbs are very similar, the Ludix carb is no exception. There might be some minor differences but all in all you take this video as a guide.

Next check the air filter. If its dirty, clean it.
If the filter already went over the Jordan, replace it. ;)

Good luck! :)
