Non Starting Peugeot Elyseo 100cc

Hello,

I have a non running Peugeot elyseo 100cc scooter, up until 2 weeks ago it ran fine with no problems whatsoever! The problem began when i got off my perfectly working bike to do a quick shopping trip, went to get back on my bike and it wouldnt start?? the starter motor whirring sound happens then nothing, no combustion, no chugging, not even a flicker of hope? ive had a look at the petrol supply, its running clean, the oil is fine, i thought it may be a spark problem so changed the spark plug, still the same, the kick start doesnt work either, the leg moves but nothing happens in the engine, (although, this has never worked since ive had it, 6 months) does anyone know of any other reason why the bike is not turning over??

Any help will be apprecited.
